Internal 40GB HDD
The DN-HD2500 includes an internal 40GB HDD, large enough to store thousands of your most popular requested music. This compelling utility allows the DN-HD2500 to be used as your new primary "plug and play" full featured compact system. Additionally, the DN-HD2500 can be used as a backup system for those DJ's currently using laptops.

External USB Device Support
Got a portable music collection stored on external USB media?
No problem... the DN-HD2500 can support multiple external USB mass storage class devices direct or via a USB 2.0 hub (sold separately). Connect your iPod, Jump Drive, and large USB Hard Drives for easy access to your small or extensive mp3/wav libraries. Simply plug these devices into the DN-HD2500 to make use of powerful features like Instant Start, Seamless Looping, Scratching and File Searching, just to name a few. Up to 4 devices can be connected at once.

DN-D4500 / DN-D4000 Drive Support
The DN-4000 and DN-4500 are two of the most popular dual CD/MP3 players in the world, which is why the drive transport section was chosen to be supported natively by the DN-HD2500. Existing owners of these two CD/MP3 players can easily upgrade to the DN-HD2500, which will act as your new controller and media center. CD Media, Internal HDD and External devices are all conveniently available at your fingertips.

Keyboard Support
The DN-HD2500 will support any standard USB keyboard for simplified song search of; Artist, Album, Title, Genre, Year, BPM, and Playlists.

Building the mood of your dance floor and remixing live has never been so easy with Denon's built-in effects. Easily activate and have full parameter control with a unique Dry/Wet mix control of the 4 effects: Flanger, Filter (High-Mid-Low), Echo and an industry first, Echo/Loop.

Deep Pitch Resolution
For those DJ's who perform long mix transitions and require high pitch resolution, the DN-HD2500 offers .02% for the 4% pitch range and .05% for the 10/16% pitch range.

Next Track Function w/ Crossfade World's First!
Storing thousands of your favorite songs on the internal HDD or external USB devices is now possible. But what if you want to play other files from the same source back to back? Well, Denon answered your needs with world' first Next Track Reserve function. You can search for your next file by any criteria (without interrupting playback) and crossfade seamlessly to that file for a smooth nonstop mix upon your command. Crossfade time is user adjustable.

Software Upgradeable by USB
From time to time Denon will make subtle improvements to current features or add new compelling ones based on valuable user feedback. These new Plug Ins are always free and made available via the Denon www.denondj.com web site.

Memo Function

The Key Adjust feature keeps vocals and music sounding true even when you adjust the speed of the track.

Hot Starts & Seamless Looping
Two Hot Starts (A1 and A2) can be made on the fly and easily turned into Seamless Loops. The Hot Starts can also be used as Stutter points as well.

Loop A/B Trim
The A or B point for the seamless loops can be easily adjusted on-the-fly- to perfection.

Power On Play
Unattended playback is possible upon power up. Great for restaurants, bars and nightclubs at opening time. Each side can be used independently for a two zone application.

Relay Play
Unattended playback is possible between both sides. Great for the cocktail hour or during dinner time at banquet halls.

Play Lock
Prevents the DJ from accidentally changing the "live" playback track, which avoids an embarrassing moment with a full dance floor.

Eject Lock
Prevents the Dj from accidentally ejecting the wrong disc during playback, which avoids an embarrassing moment with a full dance floor. (When used with the D4500/D4000 transport drive.)

2-way Pitch Ben (Jog disc or buttons)
